Challenge Mad

I seem to have gone challenge mad. This card is for Cute Card Thursday, Mojo monday and House Mouse. Cute card Thursday is a Bit Of Bling, I used gem stones. Mojo Monday sketch is a good one this week and I think I will use this again. Finally the House Mouse challenge which is birthdays. I don't have many House Mouse stamps but this is a cutie called Monica Romances.
I used Monica Romances stamp, DCWV papers, Papermania birthday cake, papercellar gems, Copic pens, Whispas and Memento ink pads, Cuttlebug Dots and Nesties. Gosh a longer list than I realised.
Well its going to be a lovely weekend weather wise so everyone enjoy yourselves.

Two Challenges +1

I loved this sketch on Friday sketchers. I liked the simplicity. I put it together with Colour Create this week which is lemon, pink sorbet and chocolate with shabby chic as an extra challenge. Sounds good enough to eat but to make a card I had my reservations! Once I got started I was pleasantly surprised and really like the way this card has turned out. The materials used are Papers DCWV, oval, circle and scallopes Nesties, Lavinia stamps, Whispas inks, woodware and McGill punches, Cuttlebug dots, Paper Cellar gems and Liquid Pearls. I just realised the Charisma Cardz theme this week is Going Dotty so I sahll have a go at this too.

Friends Forever

An anniversary card made with one of my favourites, Penny Black 'Every which Way' stamp and Studio G Friends Forever stamp. The background paper is Paper Pizazz. I used various Nesties, Cuttlebug Dots with Sizzix heart and X-Cut small hearts. The flowers are X-cut with sequins and pearl centres. The hedghogs are colored with Copic pens.

Matching present

Another quick post tonight to show the box I made to match the card I have made for my Mother-in-Laws birthday. I have used all the same materials as the card (see post below). Her 80th birthday is on Friday so it will be another family get together.

Husband's birthday card

I made this for my husbands birthday last week. Its a fairly plain card , no patterned papers. I used Grommit stamps by Rubber Stampede. I got them several years ago at the craft fair in the SECC Glasgow and have been useful for mens cards. grommit is stamped and mounted on Nestie ovals and scallops and coloured with Copic pens. The background is Cuttlebug Dots. the sentiment is PB and brads are Papermania.

Mickey & Minnie

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. I certainly had a busy time between gardening for my Dad and my own garden. We had a lovely night out at my Daughter & Son-in-laws on Sunday and we even managed a hill walk on Monday morning. Think I need an other day to recover. I was having bother with blogger before the weekend so I hope this has been fixed and that this will upload properly.

I made this card using the Truly Scrumptious sketch and Cuttlebug Dots and used Copic pens to colour the images, so I have managed two challenges with this card.
I used Mickey & Minnie stamps, Cuttlebug Dots, X-Cut heart and star punch, Copic pens B00, B32, RV29, R35, E00, W1, W5, YR23.YR31, RV02. I didn't have the required pens colours which were B14. R27 & Y08

Quick card

A very quick card which will suit the colour create challenge of blue and green with some paper pricking. I used DCWV papers and label Nesties with a PB Critter Party image, nice and quick!

Eilidh's 21st birthday

I'm still catching up after my holiday, I can't seem to get as much done as I wish. Here is a photo of my box inspired by Vera. This is to go with the card I made a few weeks back. I decorated the box with the same Doodlebug papers but I used a different image. this is one of the P B Critter Party stamps. I made the flowers from various punches, the large one I bought on holiday which is Woodware and my new leaf punch is from McGill. I just hope she likes them.

Look What I Received

I am so lucky! I received this beautiful card and pressie from Vee one of the DT at Charisma Cardz. It was my birthday while I was on holiday last week and it just seems to be going on forever. Vera gave me this today and the box is full of lovely chocolates. I appreciate all the hard work she has put into making this for me. Thank you very much. I love the idea of the box and I am making something similar for my niece's 21st present on Saturday. I will hopefully have it ready to upload tomorrow.

It's a Girl

Back from my holiday already. Doesn't time fly when we are having fun! We were in North Wales last week staying in Glan Conwy. We take my in laws for a weeks vacation every year in this area and enjoy the scenery. Our weather was not too good but it didn't keep us in, pity its all over. Now I am back to work and catching up with the household chores. I had a little time this afternoon to make this card which is for the Charisma cardz challenge. My daughter asked me to make this for her friend who just had a baby girl. I used my new stamp my daughter gave me for my birthday last week. It is from Funstamps and is called Harriet's Flower coloured with Copic pens. I mounted it on oval Nesties and Dots embossing folder and used the sketch from Vee on Charisma cardz. The ribbon is from Forever in Time, sorry I can't remember what the paper is.
